Support South Hills Interfaith Ministries

SHIM is a non-profit charity serving the South Hills of Pittsburgh for more than 30 years. Thanks to our volunteer support and in-kind donations, we are able to make each dollar we receive go a long way toward helping those in our community. We are very proud of the fact that we keep our administrative expenses around 12 percent of total expenses.

Through donations from the community, support from area congregations, some foundation funding and yearly fundraising events, SHIM provides support to more than 1200 adults and children every year. SHIM's outreach programs in the South Hills are supported by more than 50 congregations representing a broad spectrum of faith traditions, the community at large and individual contributors. This continuing support is essential to sustain SHIM's ongoing mission and service.

Thanks to generous contributions of our supporters, SHIM is making a significant difference in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Please help us to continue to meet the many needs of our community. All gifts are 100 percent tax deductible. SHIM is a United Way Donor Option Agency (#383) and is also eligible to receive donations from government employees who participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (code #9288)
