In 1968, South Hills Interfaith Ministries began as
an outreach effort to the area's youth with its "Ministry in
the Mall" at
South Hills Village. Today, SHIM is dedicated to meeting a variety
of needs for
people of all ages.
SHIM has a rich
history of providing important services of caring in our community
by our involvement
in facilitating Family Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Senior Partners in
Mt. Lebanon, Interfaith Re-employment Group, and Interfaith Hospitality
Network.
